J. Russell Nieman

J. Russell Nieman is an educated percussionist and composer residing in Los Angeles, CA. He is actively performing in multiple formats from large-scale theatre and studio recording to local clubs and education. As a result of this ongoing sonic exploration, Russ has created vast amounts of music material dedicated to, among others, the multi-media interactive domain. Through contracts with some of the world's most prominent music software/hardware production teams in the United States, Japan, and Great Britain, Russ has composed, engineered, and produced hundreds of original, full-score works. In addition, Russ is a published author and has consulted on the research, development and marketing of many current musical instruments, both electric and acoustic.
