 Carole Anne Burris - Wombboom
Carole Anne Burris has been playing, performing and teaching drums (including djembe, junjun, kenkeni and various percussion instruments) for over a decade. She is also a pianist and composer and is Musical Director for the women's drumming group, WombBOOM. As a musician, she brings to her workshops a knowledge of complex world rhythms as well as the ability to communicate and help empower individuals through rhythm. She has been leading drumming groups with many many women over the years through workshops, drumming circles, classes, drumcamps and performance groups. Carole Anne's incredible ability on the drum, her love of rhythm, a freedom to improvise, unbridled enthusiasm and unconditional support provide for a great experience.
