Multi-Grammy nominated drummer Andres Patrick Forero is considered one of the best “cross-over” drummers on the music scene. His masterful approach to the drums has attracted such artists as Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Claudio Roditi, Jon Faddis, Stanly Turrentine, Clark Terry, Paquito D'Rivera, and John Benitez, Giovani Hidalgo , and many more.

Forero has traveled throughout the world, playing the worlds biggest Jazz festivals. Andres has traveled to Africa , Japan , Russia , and all through out Europe .

In 2002 Forero, along with William Cepeda and the Afro-Rican Jazz group were nominated for best Latin jazz album of the year. Forero was signed to MBK entertainment in 2004, Alicia Keys Management. Andres is currently touring and recording with Veronica, John Benitez, William Cepeda, Luis Bonillia, Hector Martignon, and Paquito D'Rivera.

Forero currently endorses YAMAHA DRUMS, VIC FIRTH DRUM STICKS, EVANS DRUM HEADS, SABIAN CYMBALS, MOUNTAIN RHTYM PERCUSSION, MODERN CASE COMPANY, SURE MICROPHONES, REUNION BLUES CYMBAL AND STICK BAGS RHTYM TECH PERCUSSION .

In 2006 THE Commission Project and Meet the Composer commissioned legendary Cuban composer and conductor Tania Leon to write a piece specifically for Andres. Leon and Forero will premier the piece in 2007 at Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center . Forero is currently writing music for his first solo album, and is also finishing his second piece, a suite for legendary Percussionist Max Roach due to be performed in 2007.

Andres, maintains a unique voice n the world of music. It is with this voice that he seeks to redefine drumming and enhance its accessibility in the years to come.
