Rick Stojak
Rick started drumming professionally at the age of 16 playing at the legendary CBGB in NYC with a punk band called "The
Names." Rick then began touring the east coast and recording with "B. Wilde" for Polygon Productions. In 1995, Rick
began drumming with "Barnyard Ballers" mixing rockabilly, punk, metal and country into a new style called psychobilly.
San Diego's Barnyard Ballers are a psychobilly favorite and originator who tour internationally and frequently play sold out shows
on the Hollywood strip. In 2006 the band will release it's 4th CD. "Ballers" spin off project "Beverly
Killbillies" will release it's first cd in 2006, mixing industrial and psychobilly. Rick is often as a touring drummer playing
internationally with "Guana Batz and "Hillybilly Hellcats." Rick is a frequent preformer at the San Diego Zoo
on a Mountain Rythym ethnic percussion drum set, playing raggae, calypso and African music with "Island Fever" and
Native American and Latin music with "Spirt Wind" Rick Stojak's Drum Studio is a place where drummers of every level
work with Rick and his friend, Funk drumming legend, Zoro to evolve musically, professional and personally. Rick is sponsored
by Mountain Rythrm Drums, Aquarian Drums Heads, Vic Firth Sticks and Wild Rugs. Rick plays Sabian Cymbals and has a large
