The ashiko is a conically shaped drum which originated in Africa. Mountain Rythym has spent many years perfecting our ashiko line. All three sizes have been specially designed to maximize the drums highs, lows and overall volume. These drums will surprise you with their sheer projection and beautiful tone - a great sound for all drumming environments.
